We are proud to share that attorney Scott Glovsky has once again been selected to Southern California Super Lawyers for 2027, marking his 22nd consecutive year receiving this recognition.
Scott has been selected to Super Lawyers every year since 2006. His 2027 selection continues more than two decades of recognition for his work representing Californians in insurance coverage matters.
For Scott, however, recognition has never been the reason for doing this work. The cases that matter most are the ones where someone needs help standing up to an insurance company, accessing medical care, or finding a way forward after an insurer has said “no.”
What Does It Mean to Be Selected to Super Lawyers?
Super Lawyers uses a selection process that combines independent research with peer input and evaluation. According to Super Lawyers, no more than 5% of attorneys in each state are selected each year.
Scott’s selection is particularly meaningful because of its consistency. He was first named to Super Lawyers in 2006 and has now received the recognition for 22 consecutive years, through 2027.
Over that time, his practice has remained focused on helping people take on powerful insurance companies and other defendants. His Super Lawyers profile recognizes him primarily in Insurance Coverage, along with Personal Injury.
More Than Three Decades of Fighting for Californians
Scott Glovsky began practicing law in California in 1994 after graduating from Cornell Law School in 1993. Since then, he has built his career around representing people whose lives have been affected by insurance denials, serious injuries, and other difficult circumstances.
Today, much of that work involves helping Californians challenge health insurance companies when medically necessary treatment has been delayed or denied.
That work is personal. A health insurance denial is rarely just about the language of an insurance policy. For the person who needs treatment, a denial can mean waiting for medication, surgery, testing, or another form of care their doctor believes they need.
Those are the people Scott has chosen to represent for more than three decades.
22 Years of Recognition, One Continuing Mission
Being selected to Super Lawyers for a 22nd consecutive year is an honor, and we are grateful to see Scott’s work recognized again in 2027. But the purpose behind that work has not changed.
