How to Participate
Nominate
Nominations stay open for the entire contest. Between now and the end of the day on March 30, 2027, anyone in California can nominate a deserving K-12 teacher in Los Angeles or Riverside County by completing the nomination form on this page, right up until the last day.
Vote
Voting is open the whole time. As soon as a nominated teacher appears on this page, you can vote for them once per day, right up until the end of the day on March 30, 2027.
Results
Once we tally up the votes, the prizes listed below will be distributed to the winners to honor all the hard work they've done and the young lives they've touched. We will announce the winners on April 6, 2027.

Yes.

You may vote once per day for each teacher, every day until the contest closes on March 30, 2027.
What teachers are eligible?
Any current K-12 public or private school teacher who teaches in Los Angeles County or Riverside County.
- Eligible: TK (Transitional Kindergarten) teachers.
- Not eligible: Pre-school teachers, teacher's aides, paraeducators, and retired teachers.
Who can nominate teachers?
Anyone can nominate a teacher. Current students, former students, parents, other teachers, administrators, or members of the community. Your name and email address are required to nominate but will remain anonymous.
Who can vote for a teacher?
Anyone can vote for a teacher.
When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced on April 6, 2027. You do not need to be present to win, and we will reach out directly to arrange each prize.
How can I get more people to vote for my favorite teacher?
You can show your support for your favorite teacher by sharing the contest on your social media, and by asking friends and family to vote.
