
Scott Glovsky received the Consumer Attorneys Association of California “Street Fighter of the Year Award” in 2008. Mr. Glovsky was selected by his peers for this award given to a lawyer who helped create a more just society by overcoming incredible odds and without regard to profit or personal benefit. Mr. Glovsky won for his work on a case that exposed how insurance companies are systematically pressuring hospitals to discharge female patients with severe, and often fatal, eating disorders. Mr. Glovsky’s hard work put insurance companies on notice that they can no longer victimize these young women without suffering serious consequences.

Scott Glovsky is a graduate of Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyer’s College. The Trial Lawyers College is dedicated to training and educating lawyers and judges who are committed to the jury system and to representing and obtaining justice for individuals; the poor, the injured, the forgotten, the voiceless, the defenseless and the damned, and to protecting the rights of such people from corporate and government oppression.
